Abercrombie & Fitch Men's Elite Cycling Team and Training Camp

No, it's not a camp for models in training, runway walking, posing half nude presenting "the look", or anything like you'd expect. It's actually the new men's elite cycling team Abercrombie & Fitch presented by Inferno Racing L.L.C., www.infernoracing.org. For pictures from the camp follow this link: http://www.infernoracing.org/media/photopages/camp_2.html

The team gathered on a farm hosted by Mark Hekman (team member also USCF's No. 1 National ranked for Elite Men's Criterium) in Rural Hall North Carolina from Feb. 23rd thru 26th. I was lucky enough to be present as a representative of Medion Corporation who is team sponsor providing Eload, Emend and Zone Caps for their hydration and recovery needs. Although the team had their choice of what products they wanted sponsorship by, Eload, Emend and Zone Caps were "picked" because of their superior performance. These products are guaranteed to increase your heat tolerance by decreasing muscle cramps, dizziness, nausea, fatigue and stomach upset!

Dr. Douglas Stoddard, M.D. (Founder and Product Creator for Medion Corporation) presented an educational seminar about hydration/fueling for the team. The team was very enthusiastic, attentive and there was lots of great product feedback. www.eload.net and www.emend.cc

On another product note, Rocket Science Sports provided new (and the first) aerodynamic dimpled water bottles for the Team A&F to use during their time trial events. I felt like Santa Claus watching the gleam in the guy's eyes when they first saw the revolutionary new bottles. www.rocketsciencesports.com

A&F Cycling Team p/b Inferno has had a great start to the season since the camp. April 6th brought notice that Mark Hekman has earned the USCF's No. 1 National ranking for Elite Men's Criterium! Rich Harper also sits in the top 20 men in the U.S., by occupying the current No. 17 spot. They have also been named the No. 1 team for the same category! Not bad, eh? Please review the below link for the official USCF current rankings list: http://www.usacycling.org/rankings/index.php?org=USCF&sex=M&state=&disc=CRIT&cat=01&age=

I look forward to what's started as a very promising year with Team Abercrombie & Fitch. As I saw first hand and other sponsors commented on as well, this group of guys has by far the best
attitude towards their job and a cohesiveness unparalleled! Stay tuned for more team updates!
